2025 Spring Tree/Shrub Giveaway

We will give away 3,000 native tree and shrub seedlings in pots on Saturday, April 5th, at Old Mill Park, 2201 Caroline Street, 22401, from 8:00 am – Noon. Online orders for these plants are required and will be open starting on 2/15 on this page. Each family may reserve a maximum of six trees or shrubs. The announcement for the event will be first sent to our email list. Be sure to sign up on our website for the announcements. The event is open to all residents of Virginia. Tree Stewards will be on hand to teach proper tree planting and answer questions from the public. All plants must be picked up in person by you or your designee. Any plants not picked up by noon will be forfeited.
